Eastern Hognose

Eastern Hognose captive breeding is far less developed than Western Hognose. Albino is the most established morph; other lines (axanthic, anaconda-type) appear sporadically and are not yet broadly proven recessive.

Wild Eastern Hognose can express melanism naturally; single-locus heredity in captive lines is not established.
